Milkshakes became popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, starting as a drink that included alcohol but evolving into a non-alcoholic, creamy beverage filled with childhood nostalgia. They continue to evolve as we become more health conscious and concerned about the foods we eat. Here is our new version.

This recipe can be adjusted for taste without it affecting the quality of it.
Some options you might want to try:
- add 2tbs of peanut butter for a peanut butter cup shake
- substitute our Chocolate Syrup for the Vanilla for a super rich dark chocolate shake
- add collagen for a protein boost
- drizzle with our salted caramel syrup
- frozen fruit in place of ice

Ingredients

½ cup Milk or Non Dairy Milk

½ cup Heavy Cream

1tbsp Organic Dutch Cocoa

1tbsp Concentrated Vanilla Syrup

Ice - equivalent of about 5 to 6 cubes

Nunaturals Chocolate Syrup 6.6oz (optional for decorating inside the glass)
Directions
Place all ingredients into blender and blend ice is crushed and drink is smooth and frothy
Optional: drizzle a small amount of chocolate syrup in the glass
Pour your shake into glass and enjoy

Original Adult Beverage Version
Ingredients:
- 1 oz of whiskey (or bourbon)
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup (or cocoa powder)
- 1 cup whole milk1-2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on the sweetness of the chocolate syrup)
- Crushed ice
- Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
In a shaker or blender, combine the whiskey, chocolate syrup, sugar (if using), and whole milk. Add crushed ice and shake (or blend) the mixture until well combined and frothy. Pour into a tall glass. Optionally, top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
